I laughed out loud!!!!

Judy and Ted got married and had 13 children.
Then Ted died of Heart Disease.

She married again, and she & Bob had 7 more children.
Bob was killed in a car accident, 12 years later.
Again Judy remarried, and this time
She & John had 5 more children.
Judy finally died, after having 25 children.
Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her.
He thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said,
"Lord, they are finally together."
Ethel leaned over and quietly asked her best friend, Margaret:
"Margaret, do you think he means her 1st, 2nd, or 3rd husband?"
Margaret replied: "I think he means her legs, Ethel..."

Today.....

the wonderful sun is shining bright and it is finally
a beautiful day!!!!!
This is the day which the LORD has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The Weekend!!!

This weekend was just a normal every other weekend without kids, except we had absolutely nothing to do!!!! I love those weekends!!! Riley had a soccer game Friday night but after having a meltdown because I could only find 1 soccer sock, we did not make the game. Now, I do see that I am a horrible Mom for making Riley miss his soccer game but he has to start helping me keep up with his stuff. So, after dropping Riley off with his Dad on Friday night, I decided to lay down and calm down. But, to my suprise I fell asleep and woke up at 7 am Sat morning....wow what a fun Fri night.....RIGHT!!!

But in my defense I was exhausted from Thurs night. Justin and I went to see Deryl Dodd in Grapevine at Love and War. It was awesome......WE LOVE DD!!!!!

So, after waking up so early we decided to drive back out to Grapevine and have brunch at Wilhoytes. We were supposed to eat there before Deryl Dodd but ran out of time. After stuffing our faces....did I mention it is a buffet....we headed over to Grapevine Mills to get me a new case for my brand new IPHONE...woo hoo!!!!! I really wanted a pink Ed Hardy case but had to settle for a red one...I love it!!! I wish that I had a pic.....sorry. After walking around the mall...which I thought was an outlet mall and it really is not....we decided to go home and rest. We could not decide on a movie...which now I really wished that we would of seen Crazy Heart!!!

After doing a few things around the house we decided to go out for dinner. I really wanted to go to BJ's Brewery but they were on a 45 min wait so we decided to go to Cheddars. This place had been there almost a year or so and is right up the road and we have never been.......wow I was impressed.

The food was really good and very reasonably priced...I was shocked!!!!!! We ended up sitting at the bar....well honestly where else would Justin and I sit....hee hee.....and we noticed that the bartender kept making the same drink over and over again.....I promise she made 10 in like 30 min. It is called a Painkiller......they said it was like a Pina Colada on the Rocks. I did not order one but will the next time for sure.

Does it not look YUMMY!!!!!!!

On Sunday we decided to try a new place since we had such good luck with Cheddars.....Jusitn and I are big creatures of habit....we go to the same places all the time....Usually the places I like!!!

I had a coupon for Wich Wich and we decided to try it out!!!!

Pretty good!!! I thought it was a little expensive but Justin loved it...I think only because they have chocolate shakes.....GOOFBALL!!!

A funny for you today!!!!

Women gain weight
because we accumulate so much
information andwisdom in our heads
that when there is no more room,
it distributes out to the rest of our bodies.
So we aren't heavy,
we are enormously cultured,
educated and happy.
Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror
I will think,
Good grief, look how smart I am!?

Riley's 9th Birthday

Yes, I am a aware that I am a week late posting about Riley's birthday...I know I am a horrible mom!!! But, this year we did things different. Usually, we have a huge birthday party that I go way overboard on and spend way to much money on and get really stressed out about. I was again wanting to have a huge party this year because Riley turned 9. Riley and I love love love the #9. We are goofballs about it. Riley has always been #9 in all the sports and anything that has 9 on it I buy him. Yes, we love Tony Romo also!!!! So, I wanted to a very cool #9 birthday but are plans changed quickly when Riley got invited to go to Disney over Spring Break. So, I decided the responsible thing to do was spend the money on the trip rather than the birthday. I think that Justin and Riley's dad were secretly very happy about this decision. On his real birthday we had basketball practice so Riley, Vic, Justin and I went out to eat and let Riley decide where he wanted to go. He chose Boss's Pizza in Lk. Worth and then to go to GameStop...suprise suprise!!!

Riley will also get to go to the Kennedy Space Center, which I think will be very cool and I am hoping that he enjoys it.

The kids will be leaving on March 14th to spend 6 days in Florida...they are so lucky and Riley will be spending the week with Victoria which at age 10 is a veteran of Disney. She has been almost every year!!
So, last Sunday after church we celebrated his birthday with the family. Of course we went to Riscky's Steak house and walked around the stockyards. We love the Steakhouse. The food is yummy and they have a nice room for everyone!!!

He only had one present to open. Everyone else gave him money to spend at Disney. He did pretty good. He raked up $110 and a $25 gamestop giftcard.

Thanks to his Dad, his one gift was the one thing he really wanted...a Nintendo DSi!!!!!!

By the way, he has his hand up because he thought it would be funny to put his hand up over his face so that I could not take a pic of him.....He is such a brat!!!!

One of the pics with Granny..my mom....and Pa-Pa....Kelley....my step-dad. Kelley always makes goofy faces in pics!!!

I took a pic of him with everyone there but I figured this was the most important pic...hee hee.....I cant believe that my spoiled rotten meanie is 9 years old!!!!!
After lunch, we had a great afternoon walking around the stockyards and visiting the litte shops. We LOVE the candy store....go figure!!!!!

We let the kids get a balloon from this wonderful man. He told us that his 2 jobs in life were to 1st witness and 2nd to make kids smile. He asked Riley what the first thing he was going to do when he got into heaven. Riley said ask where the ice cream was.....what a dork!!!!!!!
We had such a great day and honestly I think Riley enjoyed himself just as much as if we would have had a party!!!!

O.M.G

Because I am still trying to figure this thing out, my post is going to be backwards. I uploaded all my pics in order but forgot that the last pic is actually the first...unless I am doing something wrong. So, I finally got home from work. Honestly, the roads were not bad except the 2 f of snow all along the roads. The roads are so nasty and dirty. But, the snow is absolutely beautiful. I do not remember the last time it snowed like this. It always seems that when IT DOES snow that Riley is never with me. So, once again I am home without the kids so I thought I would take Rodie outside to play. Not only did he hate the snow, but he hated me taking pics and I am the worst photographer in the world anyways!

So, because of our huge tree in the front yard it looks as if it barely snowed but on the side of the yards..well you can see how much snow we got!

The pic above is of neighbors yard and the pic below is of our front yard!

Below are pics from work..downtown Ft. Worth. It was sooo pretty.

This was the last pic I took. The pics below were earlier in the morning. By noon, it was pouring snow...seriously it was making car sick watching it fall. It looked like a fountain of snow.

Even though it was pretty....I want it to go away. The weather is supposed to get worst tomorrow and I have a ton of stuff to do!!!! But, hey we do not get actual snow in Texas very often so I should not complain!

Brief History in Pictures!

It all started out with these 2 spoiled brats! This is the earliest picture that I had on my computer at work. Justin and I started dating when Riley was 2 and Victoria was 3. The first double date we went on was to the movies and I cannot think to save my life what movie it was. But, I do remember having fun and having our pictures made in the photo booth that draws your picture. I am sure that we also had Vic's Dolly and Riley's nawnee. Those days we went nowhere without those two things. Wow, have things changed. I remember thinking how hard it was to be a parent to a 2 year old.....Man, was I wrong!!!

Then, we met. I think not only to us but everyone else our relationship was a shocker. Who knew that we would literally fall in love at first sight. Well, we already knew of each other but were not exactly friends or acquaintances. This time was different. We needed each other for all the crazy and wrong reasons so after a year or so we decided to get married.

On August 7th 2004, I finally got rid of my last name and very happily got a new one. How do you sum up the very happiest day of your life? For me, it was very stressful, joyful and way to much to drink!!!!! AND I have to add alot of great friends and family....and many many MEMORIES!!!!! Our wedding night was spent in the hotel at the airport fully clothed. We arrived in the hotel room at around 3am and literally fell in bed. We got up at 6am to fly to Las Vegas.

I love this picture of us. It has always been one of my favs. I sure wish that I could wear that skirt now!!! Justin and I had the greatest time in LV. We had nothing planned except to have FUN!! We ended up getting very lucky and got to see Faith Hill, Pat Green and Cross Canadian Ragweed in concert. It was the greatest week ever. Two things that Justin and I do best is to argue and have fun together!!!!!

I deleted half the pictures as I was writing this....sorry still new to this blogging thing!!!!!

I cant believe that these 2 sweet little ones have grown into these 2 spoiled 8 and 10 year old BRATS!!! I love them so much and cannot my life without them. Although, in a few years I will have 2 teenagers and I am not sure how we will deal with it. But, I am sure that we can handle it God Willing!!!!

What started out as 2 people just wanting to have fun, has turned into a wonderful family of 4....oh okay 5.....but I deleted the pic of Rodie (the greatest Yorkie in the world)!!!

I will have to blog about him later.
